GHG initiative launches final version of their CO2-standards
The Greenhouse Gas Protocol Initiative has been developping standards on calculating a carbon footprint as well as on calculating indirect CO2-emissions. Stakeholders throughout the world were involved in this process.
The drafts of both standards have been discussed broadly and more than 60 wellknown companies have worked with the 2nd draft in the so called road test in 2010 in order to give recommandations for further improvements.
On Ocotober 4th the final version of both standards was launched in New York and London.
